Hey everyone! Hopefully all of you are having a wonderful Reading Week!
The Materials Engineering Society will be hosting a board game night on the first week back!
There will be plenty of board games ♟️ , free pizza 🍕 and other snacks. Come in to hangout with your friends to relax before/after your midterms!

📣Calling all Chem Eng and Material Eng Students!
Are you ready to test your knowledge? Join us on Saturday, January 25th at 8:45pm for a Trivia Night at Emerson 109.
See how well you know your Eng facts and General trivia for a chance to win prizes!
Sign up as a team or as an individual (to be drafted later to a team).
📌Sign ups are on a first come first serves basis!
📌All participants must also fill out an alcohol waiver to participate!

Holiday Social
Feeling festive before Exams❄️☃️?
Drop by the Orange Room this Friday Nov. 29 from 3-6 pm for HOT CHOCOLATE, S’MORES and holiday crafts ☕️🍫💌. MATLS Merch will also be on sale (stay tuned for more info 👀)
Along with the festivities, come drop off any listed item donations or make a small donation to enter a MATLS retro merch GIVEAWAY 🎁
All proceeds will go to the YWCA.

Fall 2024 SAGM
This year's Fall SAGM will be on November 25th at 5:30pm in PGCLL B138! See you there! 😻
For the 1st years who don't know what SAGM is... it's the MES's semi-annual general meeting (aka happens once per Fall and Winter semesters)! It's a chance for students across the faculty to come together and listen to important presentations, take part in votes, and more! (it's also a great opportunity to get free pizza and goodies)








National Day for Truth and Reconciliation EDI Share
September 30 marks the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation. On this day we honor the survivors and victims of residential schools in Canada and their families.
To commemorate this day, the MSE Society will be hosting a workshop to reflect and honor the stories of the survivors, families, and communities affected by the injustice and generational trauma caused by the legacy of residential schools in Canada.
Location: Orange Room (JHE 352)
Date: Monday September 23, 2024
Time: 6-8 pm
Come prepared to share and learn, refreshments will be provided.
