The MSE Society has compiled a list of scholarships hosted by materials specific technical societies. Click the button below to see the spreadsheet of all scholarships, or scroll down to see our top picks!

Awardspring has all the McMaster scholarships for students during their studies. Make sure to fill out the general application each year to determine your eligibility for each scholarship. The materials department also offers in-course awards for certain courses given to the student with the highest grade achieved in the course.

Quick Note: Materials Advantage Program

Many scholarships for MSE students require a membership to the respective organization. the Materials Advantage program is an annual subscription which heavily subsidizes and gives a general membership to some of the major organizations, therefore giving access to over $800,000 in scholarships.

NOTE, you may receive a complimentary Materials Advantage membership by applying to the AIST Internship Scholarship. You will receive the complimentary membership regardless of if you receive the AIST Internship Scholarship.
