Basic Simulations - Structural Analysis of Cellular Materials Part 2

Join the Computational Materials Society in taking the first step to using basic python programming to create a framework for running structural simulations. Although there are plenty of sophisticated simulation softwares available such as ANSYS by Granta, Solidworks and Autodesk Finite Element Analysis (FEA), it is an extremely powerful tool to write our own python based simulations as we can automate them and pair them to iterative improvement methods such as machine learning networks.

This session will be an interactive workshop where you will come out with a functioning code and understanding of setting up the simulations.
